Recipe Ingredients for chicken and biscuits

1 lb chicken breast
2 tbs butter
2 medium onions
4 cloves garlic
1 cup carrots, sliced
3 cups green beans
3 small red potatoes, diced
1/2 cup parsley
4 cups chicken broth
15 oz evaporated milk
3 tbs corn starch
1 1/2 cups flour
4 tbs butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup buttermilk

Recipe Directions for chicken and biscuits

  1. Cook onions in butter until translucent add chicken cook until chicken no longer pink. Add garlic and remove chicken.

  2. Add carrots, potato, green beans and chicken broth. Cook until veggies tender. Add parsley.

  3. Mix evaporated milk with corn starch until smooth. Add to broth mixture. Add cooked chicken once gravy thickens. Keep warm.

  4. Biscuits

  5. Mix flour, baking powder, salt,and baking soda.Add cold butter to flour mixture and cut in until pebbles form. Add buttermilk mix to a soft dough. Don't over mix. Drop on to cookie sheet make ten biscuits. Bake at 425 12-15 minutes
