This recipe contains 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef and can be made into patties or cooked as a meat loaf NOTE: Ground beef used is extra lean

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken, Beef & Veggie Burger

1 lb ground chicken
1 lb Ground beef, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat,
1/4 cup minced onion
1 egg
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp peppercorn
1 tsp lemon
1 cup broccoli

Recipe Directions for Chicken, Beef & Veggie Burger

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300 F

  2. In a food processor or chop very fine by hand enough broccoli for to make 1 cup, the finer the better as this acts as a filler.

  3. In a large bowl mix together, ground chicken, ground beef,broccoli,egg, onion, oats, mustard, italian seasoning, peppercorns and lemon.

  4. If used as patties form into 10 even size patties and place on a broiler pan in the oven and cook until well done....

  5. For a meat loaf, grease a meatloaf tin and cook for 50 to 60 minutes or until well done
