Chicken with spices, tomatoes, and cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken with basil

12 oz Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 tbsp Parsley, Dried
1 tbsp, leaves Basil, Dried
4 cloves, raw Garlic
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
2 oz Mozzarella Low Moisture Part Skim

Recipe Directions for Chicken with basil

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Coat a small, flat casserole with cooking spray.

  2. Slice garlic into thin slices. Slice tomatoes.

  3. Sprinkle 1 tsp. parsley and 1 tsp. basil evenly over baking dish. Arrange chicken breasts in dish and sprinkle evenly with garlic slices. In a small bowl mix the remained 2 teaspoons of parsley, basil and salt. Sprinkle over chicken. Top with tomato slices.

  4. Bake covered in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove cover, sprinkle cheese evenly over tomatoes. Continue baking uncovered for 20 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
