This happened when I had a pound and a half of chicken defrosted. I0 wanted to use balsamic and googled a few recipes to see how much fuckers throw in shit.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Basil Balsamic Veggie Fry

1.67 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast
2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
106 g carrots, (3 of them.)
218 g green beans, (a good motherfucking handful)
31 g garlic, (6-8 cloves)
155 g white onion, (half of it.)
75 g spinach, (3 bunches)
3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
82 g steamed broccoli

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Basil Balsamic Veggie Fry

  1. PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

  2. slice the chicken into 1/2-1cm wide strips width wise across the chicken breasts

  3. mix the basil into the balsamic and let sit for 3-5 minutes.

  4. start chopping the veggies:

  5. carrots into even sized chunks

  6. beans into half inch type chunks

  7. stop and mix the balsamic-basil into a bowl with the chicken strips.

  8. back to slicing the veggies:

  9. the garlic gets chopped

  10. the half onion sliced a few times on latitude and each of those cut a grid into

  11. the spinach washed and cut into squares. the smaller the better, but don't mince that shit.

  12. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  13. In the largest frying pan you have warm the olive oil to just above medium. add the carrots and beans, cooking them a bit (3-5 min) before you

  14. Add the garlic and white onion.

  15. increase heat to nearly full high and continue sautéing a bit (3-5 min).

  16. Add the 3 tablespoons of balsamic and as much of the spinach as you can fit. throw on a lid, press down on it and shake the whole mass up a lot in circles on your grill. let it heat up a bit (3-5 min)

  17. reduce heat to just below medium-high, add the last of the spinach and let 'er go for a while (10-15min). those carrots and beans are a bitch to cook right, so you can poke 'em with a fork to find out when they're al-dente.

  18. remove from heat at carrot-aldente time. residual heat will bring them to full tenderness

  19. throw the chicken in another big-ass frying pan. if you don't have two, empty the veggies in a bowl which you keep on an unlit stove burner to keep warm (due to proximity of chicken-frying) and reuse the original.

  20. toss the lid on and drain out as much of the marinade as you can into the veggies.

  21. remove lid. turn heat on high.

  22. stir the marinade/veggie mass so that they get a good exposure to the new balsamic-basil you dropped in there.

  23. watch the chicken. once all the juices flow ito the pan and start moving from simmering to boiling off, dump the veggie mass on top of it.

  24. reduce heat to medium-high. lid it.

  25. give it about 10 minutes and turn off the heat, the bitch is done, server over rice.
