A tangy sauce to tickle the taste buds. I've listed it as "English" cuisine as I made the recipe up myself :)

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken in Barbecue Sauce

1 Teaspoon Mustard
3 tbsp Ketchup
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 Cube Stock Cubes
1 serving Hot Chili Sauce
3 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 clove Garlic
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
3 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
2 Serving Chicken
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola

Recipe Directions for Chicken in Barbecue Sauce

  1. Chop the onion and garlic finely (or roughly if you intend to blend later to make a smoother sauce)

  2. Heat the oil and add the onion - cook for 3-4 mins

  3. Add the garlic and cook for another minute or two

  4. Start to add the other ingredients - if the Worcestershire sauce starts to boil away, take the pan off the heat until you've put the water in.

  5. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add more water.

  6. Blend the sauce if desired and add the chicken at this point and leave to cook for about 20 mins.

  7. I usually serve it with home made potato wedges and vegetables.

  8. Equally good with sausages.
