Recipe Ingredients for Chicken with Asparagus & Pistachios

16 oz Chicken
1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil, Unrefined
24 oz Asparagus
8 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
7 tsp Ginger Root
1 tbsp Oyster Flavored Sauce
0.25 cup Pistachio Nuts

Recipe Directions for Chicken with Asparagus & Pistachios

  1. Trim the ends of the asparagus and cut into 1" pieces. Trim scallions and cut into 1" pieces. Mince the ginger (2 Tablespoons). Cut chicken into bite-size peices. Shell the pistachios (you need 1/4 cup of the meats, no shells).

  2. Heat 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

  3. Add asparagus; cook, stirring , for approx 4 minutes

  4. Add chicken; cook, stirring, for 4 minutes.

  5. Stir in green onions/scallions, ginger, oyster sauce, and optional 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce; cook, stirring, until the chicken is juicy and just cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes more.

  6. Stir in pistachios and serve immediately.
