Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Asparagus Pasta

16 oz whole wheat pasta
12 asparagus spears
250 grams chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 tbs. olive oil
1/4 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
1 Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Asparagus Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes and place in skillet with olive oil.

  3. Add asparagus and mushrooms. Continue cooking until the chicken is done.

  4. Add chicken broth, tomatoes and cover the pan until the asparagus is done.

  5. Add pasta, seasonings and feta cheese.

  6. Remove from heat.
