Chicken with onions, green pepper and tomato

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Americano

450 g chicken breast
1 medium red onion, sliced
1 tsp olive oil
1 medium green pepper, sliced
150 g tomato, diced
3 tsp corn flour
1/2 cup skimmed milk
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Chicken Americano

  1. Heat the oil.

  2. Fry the chicken in the oil till almost done then set aside.

  3. In the same skillet heat the onion till gold, then add the green pepper and then tomato.

  4. Put the chicken back in the skillet and add tomato paste, chicken broth and water and simmer for 10 minutes.

  5. Dissolve the corn flour in the milk and add to the skillet.

  6. When mixture boils, lower heat and add seasonings. Leave till it thickens.
