Chicken Alfredo in stuffed pasta shells

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells

12 oz. pasta shells
12 oz. cooked turkey breast, cubed
1 egg, beaten
15 oz. cottage cheese
3 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, cubed
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy whipping cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. In a small bowl combine egg, ricotta, 1 1/2 cups Parmesan, mozzarella and seasoning.

  3. Drain and rinse pasta in cold water. Stuff each shell with 1 Tbsp. of cheese mixture.

  4. Place in a greased 13x9 inch pan. Top with turkey.

  5. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add cream; cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese; cook and stir until thickened.

  6. Pour sauce over the casserole. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until bubbly.
