Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Adobo with coconut milk


Ingredients:
1 pound whole chicken cut into serving pieces
1/3 cup distilled vinegar
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 small red onion
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
13 1/2 ounces coconut milk
1 tbsp. canola oil
1/2 cup Swanson chicken broth
1 tbsp. chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Chicken Adobo with coconut milk

  1. Procedure:

  2. In a deep skillet, brown chicken in oil

  3. Combine vinegar,soy sauce,garlic,onion,and ground pepper stir to blend and add into brown chicken

  4. Bring to boil, lower the heat and allow to simmer, uncovered for 10 mins.

  5. Cover to continue simmering until chicken is tender. Pour coconut milk

  6. Cook for another few more minutes to thicken the sauce

  7. Remove from the heat. Transfer to serving dish and serve hot.
