Recipe Ingredients for Chick Pea Rosemary Pasta

3/4 cup onions
1 T. olive oil
14 ounces canned tomatoes
15 ounces canned chick peas
355 grams dry pasta

Recipe Directions for Chick Pea Rosemary Pasta

  1. Combine onions, garlic, rosemary (3 2-inch sprigs) and oil in pan and saute on low for 10 minutes until onions soft and goldn.

  2. Add tomatoes and half of chick peas and cook for 10 more minutes.

  3. Cook pasta and reserve some pasta water.

  4. Strip rosemary from sprigs and put in blender with mixture. Thin with pasta water and add salt to taste.

  5. Return to sauce pan and add remaining chick peas.

  6. Serve over pasta (4.75 cups of cooked pasta for this recipe) and top with crumbled feta and fresh tomatoes.
