Recipe Ingredients for Chick Pea Rosemary Pasta

3/4 cups onions
1 garlic clove
1 T. olive oil
14 oz. canned diced tomatoes
15 oz. canned chick peas
3/5 lb dry pasta

Recipe Directions for Chick Pea Rosemary Pasta

  1. Saute onions, garlic and rosemary (3 2-inch sprigs) in olive oil for 10 minutes on low.

  2. Add tomatoes and half of chick peas. Cook 10 minutes

  3. Cook pasta and reserve some pasta water for thinning of sauce.

  4. Strip rosemary leaves and add to blender with tomato chick pea mixture. Blend. Add pasta water to thin and salt/pepper.

  5. Return to stove and add remaining chick peas. Serve over pasta with crumbled feta cheese and fresh tomatoes.
