Smashed chick peas and avocado for a creamy mixture for sandwiches, wraps or salads.

Recipe Ingredients for Chick Pea and Avocado Salad

3.5 serving Chick Peas
1 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados
1 lime yields Lime Juice
3 tbsp chopped Onions
3 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Chick Pea and Avocado Salad

  1. Drain and rinse one can of chick peas and place them in a large bowl.

  2. Dice one large avocado and add it to the bowl of chick peas.

  3. Smash the avocado and chick peas together and mix well. Add diced onion if desired.

  4. Mix in the juice of one lime and add black pepper and salt to taste. You can pretty much add whatever seasonings you wish. Cayenne would be great if you want to add a little more spice to your salad.

  5. Serve on your choice of bread as a sandwich or add to a wrap or salad. You can also just use it as a dip for veggies or pita bread.
