Chia seeds are the new superfood health experts are talking about. They fight cancer and suppress appetite, while providing mega amounts of calcium and omega-3s. Recipe borrowed from Dr. Oz's website, but pumpkin puree was swapped for sweet potato puree in his recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Chia Muffins

1 tbsp Original Raw Chia Seeds
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 egg whites
1/2 cup agave syrup
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Chia Muffins

Mix together wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Scoop into muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350F.
