Healthier version of Choc. Chip Cookies

Recipe Ingredients for Chia Choc & PB Chip Cookies

16 tbsp Peanut Butter Chips
1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-Sweet
1 cup, halves Pecans
1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts
1/2 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
6 tbsp Butter
6 serving Shortening
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt, Table
2 large Egg, Whole
72 grams Brown Sugar Substitute
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 tbsp Chia Seed
1.75 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1.75 cup White Flour, Unbleached

Recipe Directions for Chia Choc & PB Chip Cookies

  1. In mixing bowl beat together chia gel (1T. chia seeds mixed with 9T. water and rested for 15mins.) with butter and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla.

  2. Mix together dry ingredients and add to wet, mix til totally incorporated, mix in chips and nuts.

  3. Bake at 375 10-15 min.
