0.75 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
2 tbsp Syrups, Maple
1.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.25 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1.5 cup Rolled Oats

Recipe Directions for Chewy Vegan Banana Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter cookie sheets.

  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. Mix both sugars, maple syrup, mashed banana, oil and vanilla together in a medium bowl. Add the flour mixture and stir until blended. S.tir in the oats, followed by diced banana pieces..

  4. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the cookie sheets. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Let cool for about 5-8 minutes on cookie sheets then carefully scoop up onto a wire rack

  6. Makes 2 dozen
