0.25 cup Butter
0.25 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
24 tsp SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.05 cup Joseph's Original Sugar Free Maple Syrup
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.5 cup All-Purpose Flour
0.5 cup Organic Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 cup Egg Beaters
0.5 tsp Baking Powder
1.5 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 1/4 cup Rice Krispies
14 tbsp Semi-Sweet Mini Morsels

Recipe Directions for Chewy Granola Bars

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the honey, vanilla and egg; mix well. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats, cereal and nuts and raisins or chocolate chips if desired.

  2. Press into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Yield: 2 dozen.
