Cherry Tomatoes in Cheesy Batter.

Recipe Ingredients for Cherry Tomato Clafoutis

400 g Cherry Tomatos
3 tbsp Parsley
100 g Gruyere
55 g Plain Flour
4 large Eggs
3 tbsp sour cream
225 ml Semi skimmed milk
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper

Recipe Directions for Cherry Tomato Clafoutis

  1. Grease oval oven proof dish

  2. Arrange tomatos in the dish, sprinkle with herbs and half cheese.

  3. Put flour in mixing bowl

  4. Add eggs, whisk until smooth

  5. Whisk in sour cream

  6. Slowly whisk in milk to make a smooth thin batter.

  7. Season with salt and pepper.

  8. Gently pour mixture over tomatos, sprinkling the top with the remaining cheese.

  9. Bake 190C / 375F / GM 5 - 40-45minutes or until set and puffy.

  10. Cover with foil if it browns too quickly.

  11. Cool for a few minutes before serving - can also be served cold.
