a good granola - these are supposed to be dried cherries. Weren't in the database.

Recipe Ingredients for Cherry Nut Granola

4 cups rolled oats
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup cherry
1 cup coconut
1 cup dates
2 T honey
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 T brown sugar
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 T canola oil
1 T butter - melted
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Cherry Nut Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 300.

  2. Mix the honey, brown sugar, canola oil, melted butter, vanilla, water, and cinnamon

  3. Add the oats, peanuts, coconut, sunflower seeds, and wheat germ. Mix Well

  4. Spread on parchment covered jelly roll pan and bake for 45 mins. stirring every 15.

  5. Remove from oven. Immediately add the dates, cherries and salt. Mix well. Allow to cool
