Recipe Ingredients for Cherry Muffins

2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt
0.5 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 large Egg, Whole
1.058 oz Vegetable Oil
1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
2 cup raw Cherries

Recipe Directions for Cherry Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  2. Grease muffin pan.

  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar in a large bowl.

  4. Add the egg, milk, and oil, stirring only enough to dampen the flour (batter should not be smooth).

  5. Add the chopped cherries and mix lightly.

  6. Spoon batter into the muffin pan, filling each cup about two-thirds full.

  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
