Recipe Ingredients for Cherry Chocolate Almond Cookies

1/2 cup butter
2 3/4 ounces sugar
2 1/2 ounces brown sugar
1/2 t salt
1/4 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 large egg
3 ounces Hodgson Mill - White Whole Wheat Flour
2 5/8 ounces rolled oats
6 ounces Green & Black's Organic Dark 70%
2 ounces almonds
4 ounces Amport Foods Dried Cherries

Recipe Directions for Cherry Chocolate Almond Cookies

  1. Pulverize oats in a blender to desired consistency.

  2. Combine butter, sugars, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and extract in a large bowl. Beat until light.

  3. Add egg and beat until smooth.

  4. Add flour and oats and beat until combined.

  5. Add chocolate, almonds, and dried cherries and beat until combined.

  6. Bake on parchment - 375 for 13-14 minutes.
