A relatively guilt-free alternative to your mom's creamy tuna dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Tuna Casserole

3/4 cups uncooked medium grain rice
1 1/2 cups cream of mushroom soup
3 oz tuna
5 cups mushroom
5 ounces cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Tuna Casserole

  1. Cook about 3/4 cup of medium grain rice as usual. Once cooked, add canned mushrooms, 2 cans of water-packed tuna, 2 cups of cream of mushroom soup, and pepper to taste.

  2. Spray casserole dish lightly with cooking oil, and spread rice/tuna/soup mixture (should be thick) over the bottom of the dish. Cook until centre of the dish is warm. Sprinkle grated cheese over top of casserole and broil for an additional few minutes until cheese bubbles and edges are crispy.
