Makes a whole pan - large servings

Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Rice HotDish

4 cups water
2 cups uncooked rice
2 T margarine
1 pound ground chicken
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 T butter
3 T flour
4 ounces velveeta cheese
1 wedge Light Original Swiss Spreadable Cheese Wedges
1 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Rice HotDish

  1. Brown ground chicken with onion and garlic seasoning and worchestershire sauce until cooked through.

  2. Add water and rice and margarine, cover and simmer until rice is tender.

  3. In seperate pot, melt 1 T butter, then sprinkle wtih flour. Cook a few minutes stirring, then add milk slowly whisking to remove lumps. Add cubed velveeta and laughing cow wedge. Cook over low heat until melted.

  4. Pour over rice hotdish, mix well, and serve.
