Mashed potatoes with melted cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

4 red potatoes
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp heavy cream
1/4 cup cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

  1. Peel potatoes and chop into quarters

  2. Boil water

  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees

  4. Place potatoes in boiling water until cooked. Test with fork.

  5. Drain potatoes and place them in an oven-safe casserole dish

  6. Add chicken broth, butter, sour cream, and heavy cream

  7. Beat potato mixture with hand mixer

  8. Sprinkle cheese on top of mashed potatoes

  9. Place mashed potatoe in oven for 10 minutes or until cheese melts
