Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Macaroni Chili

1 cup elbow macaroni
1 1/2 tablespoons olive
1 medium onion
1 1/2 cup frozen vegetables
3 cloves garlic
28 ounce stewed tomatoes
15 ounce chili beans
2 tsp dried basil
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 teaspoon sugar

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Macaroni Chili

  1. cook macaroni for about 7 minutes

  2. drain

  3. meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet

  4. add onion, vegetables, garlic and rest of the ingredients. Remove from heat add cheese and stir to blend

  5. let stand, uncovered, 5 or 10 minutes before serving
