My friends Jambalaya recipe (with some diet tweaks by me)

Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Jambalaya

3 links Sausage
9 oz shrimp
18 tbsp New Orleans Style Jambalaya Mix
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
2 oz velveeta

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Jambalaya

  1. Brown sausage or chicken

  2. To meat, add chicken broth & zatatain's mix and stir.

  3. . Bring mixture to a boil, stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 min

  4. Stir in velveeta until melted and mixed thoroughly.

  5. Remove from heat

  6. Add chopped egg, celery, and onion and stir.

  7. Let stand 5 minutes, stir & serve.
