Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti Squash

9 oz spaghetti squash
1 1/2 lb chicken breast, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, pressed
2 canned tomatoes, italian style, diced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 c shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti Squash

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cook chicken inlarge skillet until no longer pink, set aside

  3. in same skillet add onions and garlic, saute 5 min

  4. add tomatoes, Italian seasoning and salt

  5. Bring to boil

  6. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 min

  7. Add chicken and 1 C cheese, stir well

  8. Add spaghetti squash and stir to combine

  9. Pour into greased casserole dish.

  10. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  11. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes

  12. Serve.
