Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Broccoli and Rice

10 oz broccoli (frozen)
1 c white rice (quick-cook type)
1 c water
1/4 tsp salt
1 c cheddar cheese (shredded)

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Broccoli and Rice

  1. Combine broccoli, rice, water and salt in a sauce pan

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat (there will be little standing water, so you'll have to look for the bubbles to see if it's boiling). Stir frequently

  3. Remove from heat and cover

  4. Let stand for 5 minutes then return to burner

  5. Over low heat, add cheese, stir until melted

  6. Serve hot!
