Recipe Ingredients for Cheesy Biscuit Lasagna

1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 cup Onion, diced
28 oz Marinara Sauce
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp Pepper
8 Pillsbury Grands! Jr. Golden Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (1-12 oz can)
1 cup Reduced Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Fat Free Ricotta cheese
1 tbsp Parsley Flakes
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Dried Basil Leaves
2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Cheesy Biscuit Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. In large skillet, cook ground turkey over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.

  3. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and pepper. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes.

  4. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each into 4-inch round.

  5. In small bowl, mix mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, parsley flakes, onion powder and basil until well blended.

  6. Evenly divide cheese mixture on each biscuit round. Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal.

  7. Into ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, pour hot beef mixture. Arrange filled biscuits on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  8. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
