Original recipe calls for 2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns, an additional can of cream of mushroom soup, 16 oz. sour cream and no bread crumbs.

Recipe Ingredients for Cheesey potato casserole

1 3/5 lb. potatoes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 cup diced onion

Recipe Directions for Cheesey potato casserole

  1. Shred potatoes in food processor.

  2. Mix all ingredients together.

  3. Place in 9x13" sprayed pan.

  4. Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
