Recipe Ingredients for Cheesey Chili

1 lb ground turkey, browned
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
15 oz. kidney beans, drained and rinsed
8 oz. tomato sauce
14 oz. whole tomatoes, undrained
3/4 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheesey Chili

  1. Brown the turkey in a large skillet. Drain.

  2. Add green pepper and onion and simmer for 5 minutes or until tender.

  3. Add kidney beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Simmr for 30 minutes.

  4. Serve: using a 1/4 cup of cheese per serving put some cheese in the bottom of the bowl, top with 1 serving of chili, and top with a sprinkle of cheese.
