Recipe Ingredients for Cheeseburger Biscuit Pie

12 oz Pillsbury refrigerated Big Country Buttermilk Biscuits
1 lb extra lean ground turkey
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup ketchup
3 tbsp prepared mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
12 oz shredded fat free cheddar cheese (about 1.5 cups)

Recipe Directions for Cheeseburger Biscuit Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 400d

  2. In large skillet, brown ground turkey and onion until cooked through. Drain.

  3. Add ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to turkey mixture.

  4. Heat until bubbly.

  5. While that is heating, grease a 9" pie dish.

  6. Separate dough into 10 biscuits

  7. Press 6 biscuits into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.

  8. Cut remaining 4 biscuits into quarters and set aside.

  9. Add the turkey mixture into the biscuit lined dish.

  10. cover with shredded cheese.

  11. Place biscuit quarters, point side down, around the edge of the pied dish.

  12. Bake at 400d for 15-20 minutes (or unitl biscuits are golden brown.
