500 g frozen vegetables
16 fl oz semi skimmed milk
100 g cheddar cheese
2 large potatoes

Recipe Directions for Cheese and vegetable pie

  1. make a cheese sauce using the milk and half the cheese. adding a little cornflour is useful.

  2. vegetables into the cheese sauce and spread out in a large shallow dish.

  3. Cook the potatoes as baked potatoes, either in the oven or the microwave until soft enough to slice.

  4. Slice the potatoes so that there are enough slices to cover the vegetable mixture. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese and bake in a hot oven until the cheese on top is crispy.
