Bechemal with cheese, great for pasta and cauliflower. You can substitute blue cheese for an added tang.

Recipe Ingredients for Cheese sauce

250 ml 1% milk
2 tbsp corn starch
2 oz cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheese sauce

  1. Measure corn starch into saucepan.

  2. Add a little of the milk, cold and mix together.

  3. Whisk in the rest of the milk and slowly warm to boiling, stiring often.

  4. Once simmering turn down, stir and let simmer for a couple of minutes.

  5. Add grated cheese.

  6. Pour over something lovely.
