Recipe Ingredients for Cheese sauce

0.188 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
3 tbsp Butter
1.5 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
12 oz Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheese sauce

  1. melt butter in pan on medium heat

  2. add flour, whisk and allow to brown slightly

  3. reduce head slightly, add 1/3 of milk. Whisk until it begins to thicken.

  4. Add next third of the mild. Whisk until it begins to thicken.

  5. Add the last of the milk and whisk, again until it begins to thicken slightly.

  6. Add cheese. Whisk until melted.

  7. Serve
