Deeply flavourful and slightly sharp cheese sauce - perfect to top steamed broccoli, cauliflower or asparagus. I use this sparingly so for me 1 tbsp = 1 serving

Recipe Ingredients for Cheese Sauce - Goat Cheese & White Wine

3 1/2 oz Goat, Soft Type Cheese
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup white wine, dry
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chives, chopped

Recipe Directions for Cheese Sauce - Goat Cheese & White Wine

  1. While asparagus/cauliflower/broccoli is steaming, prepare sauce.

  2. Mash cheese in medium nonstick skillet; stir in broth, wine and garlic.

  3. Simmer over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until desired thickness, stirring frequently.

  4. Fold in chives; serve immediately.
