Recipe Ingredients for Cheese Polenta

1 cup grits
3 cups water
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheese Polenta

  1. Boil 2 cups water.

  2. Combine grits and one cup water.

  3. Add grits and water mixture to boiling water with stirring.

  4. Reduce heat and add butter and parmesan cheese.

  5. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring to avoid sticking.

  6. Transfer to an oiled dish smoothing to form a loaf.

  7. Cool for 10 minutes.

  8. Cut into slices and serve with your favorite sauce.
