Recipe Ingredients for Cheese Lasagna

500 g Lasagna Noodles, prepared
12 oz Tomato Paste
4 oz Red Wine
4 oz Water
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
2 cloves garlic
13 oz Part-Skim Ricotta
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tbs parsley
1/2 tsp pepper
16 oz Mozzarella cheese, part skim
1/8 cup Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Cheese Lasagna

  1. Boil 9-10 noodles (1/2 box), set aside

  2. Prepare sauce using tomato paste, red wine, water, basil, oregano, and garlic - allow to simmer.

  3. Prepare cheese filling by combining Ricotta, egg, Parmesan, parsley, and pepper

  4. In a 13 x 9 inch baking pan, layer sauce, noodles, cheese filling, and mozzarella.

  5. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly and cooked through (approx 30 minutes).
