A fairly lite cheese canelloni but made with full fat mozz.

Recipe Ingredients for Cheese Canelloni

0.5 box Manicotti Dry
1.5 cup Marinara Sauce
198.46 grams Cheese
8 oz Mozzarella, Whole Milk Cheese
7 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese
0.125 cup Bread Crumbs Italian Style

Recipe Directions for Cheese Canelloni

  1. Cook Manicotti per directions in salted water. Probably 8 minutes.

  2. Grate 8 oz of mozz and add 8 oz of fat free rictotta. Mix in bread crumbs, about 1/4 t. of oregano, 1/4 t. of basil, and 1/8 t. of salt.

  3. Stuff the manicotti with the cheese mixture.(Should be just about perfect for seven tubes.

  4. Put about half of the marinara in the bottom of a baking dish.

  5. Put the stuffed manicotti on top.

  6. Cover with the rest of the marinara.

  7. Sprinkle withe parmesan.

  8. Bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

  9. Let rest for 5 mintes and serve!
