Like the scones, but with cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Cheese Biscuits

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup low fat milk

Recipe Directions for Cheese Biscuits

  1. Sift together the dry ingredients.

  2. Cut in shortening.

  3. Stir in cheese and milk.

  4. Turn out onto floured board and cut into biscuits.

  5. Bake 11 mins at 400 F.
