I use green olives, stuffed with pimentos

Recipe Ingredients for cheese biscuits w/ olives

2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. oregano
32 jumbo stuffed green olives

Recipe Directions for cheese biscuits w/ olives

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Add cheese and mix again.

  2. Mix wet ingredents (not olives).

  3. Mix everything but the olives together.

  4. Make dough balls, scooping the dough with a tablespoon to get the desired size.

  5. Press down the middle of each ball with your finger, sinking almost all the way through.

  6. Press an olive into the indent of each dough ball. Wedge it in there or it will pop out when it rises.

  7. Bake at 200 Celsius or 400 Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes.
