Turkey carcass boiled for stock, meat removed and added back.

Recipe Ingredients for Chas Turkey Vegetable Soup

1 cup (8 fl oz) Soup, Turkey Vegetable

Recipe Directions for Chas Turkey Vegetable Soup

  1. Take most of meat off carcass and save (after carving).

  2. Break up carcass, and other bones, put in soup kettle.

  3. Fill with water over carcass with enough water for soup (2-3 quarts)

  4. Bring to boil, simmer for an hour, remove turkey bones, let cool.

  5. When meat and bones are cool, take off all other meat. Reserve stock and meat.

  6. When ready to make soup, put in vegetables and simmer, low boil adding longer cooking vegetabes first. Add meat about 20 min before serving.
