Recipe Ingredients for Charoset

4 medium apples
8 fl oz sweet dessert wine
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnut halves, chopped
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Charoset

Shred apples into a large, nonreactive bowl; add remaining ingredients and toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Yields about 1/3 cup per serving.
