A simple and tasty way to prepare chard

Recipe Ingredients for Chard with pine nuts

1 cup Chard, Swiss
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Pine Nuts, Pignolia, Dried
1 wedge or slice (1/8 of one 2-1/8" dia lemon) Lemons

Recipe Directions for Chard with pine nuts

Toast pine nuts and crushed garlic in olive oil, preferably in a large cast iron pan. Slice chard leaves horizontally and add to ingredients in pan. Toss until leaves are somewhat limp, then cover and reduce heat to low. Let simmer until leaves are completely limp (similar to cooked spinach). Serve with a squeeze of lemon and salt or No Salt to taste.
