Indian style chana masala (Chickpeas)

Recipe Ingredients for Chana/ Garbanzo Beans Masala

260 g Canned Garbanzo beans
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
2 tomatoes
1 onion
1 tsp chilli powder

Recipe Directions for Chana/ Garbanzo Beans Masala

  1. chop one regular sized onion

  2. chop 2 tomatoes

  3. take the 2 tomatoes and half of the choppen onion and use a blender grind them

  4. add oil in a pan

  5. after the oil gets heated up add the onions (the ones that have not been made to a puree ) and wait till they turn golden brown

  6. Add the tomota onion puree that you made

  7. Let it cook for 10 mins

  8. add salt and chilli powder to the mix

  9. add garbanzo beans

  10. Let it cook for 10-15 mins

  11. Add cilantro

  12. Server it
