Super Easy and Super Yummy Challah

Recipe Ingredients for Challah

2 tbsp yeast
2 tbsp salt
1 cup sugar
5 cups warm water
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
5 lbs flour

Recipe Directions for Challah

  1. Combine yeast, salt, sugar and some flour.

  2. Add water, eggs and oil.

  3. Add remaining flour a little at a time.

  4. Allow to rise for one hour.

  5. Shape and let rise again for 1/2 hour.

  6. Egg and sprinkle poppy or sesame seeds.

  7. Bake at 325F until golden brown.
