Recipe Ingredients for Chai Tea

6 cups water
2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp cardamom pods
2 tbsp cinnamon sticks
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp whole cloves
4 tea bags

Recipe Directions for Chai Tea

  1. add all ingredients to a pot except tea leaves.

  2. Bring to a boil, turn off heat and let stand 20 mn.

  3. bring back to a simmer, add tea, steep 3 mn

  4. strain through a sieve and then pour into a cup through a tea strainer.
