Indian chai made with whole milk and seasoned with cardamom.

Recipe Ingredients for Chai

1 cup whole milk
4 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Chai

  1. Bring 18 oz water to boil.

  2. Add 4 tsp tea or 4 tea bags.

  3. Add the crushed inner seeds of 6 cardamom.

  4. Add 4 tsp sugar.

  5. Remove from heat and let steep at least 5 minutes.

  6. Add 8 oz whole milk.

  7. Bring to boil continuously for 5 minutes to reduce the total by 2 oz.
