I wanted a high protien, low sugar treat that both my husband and I coule eat.

Recipe Ingredients for Cez's Dream cookie

1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
8 oz SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend
4 oz Sweetener
2 large Egg, White
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1.5 cup Almond Meal/Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
3 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
8 oz Dried Cranberries
8 oz Baking Cocoa
1 serving Unsweetened Apple Sauce

Recipe Directions for Cez's Dream cookie

  1. Pr-heat oven to 350

  2. Cream butter, both splendas and apple sauce together.

  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla.

  4. In a seperate bowl mix almond meal, baking soda, cinamon and baking cocoa. The add to wet ingrediants slowly.

  5. Once patter is well blended fold in oats and cranberries.

  6. Using a cookies scoop place cookies 12 at a time on a cookies sheet in the oven

  7. Let cool and enjoy!
