I put 2.5 cups of Go Lean Crunch, but really it's 475 calories of any grains. I just like cereal a lot! I try to get three different kinds on a cereal day: A wheat based, an oat based and a corn or rice based. I use 1/3 c skim on each serving. The lean protein can also vary: between 250 and 270 calories worth of chicken or any kind of fish or turkey. And the fruits and veggies, too! I just make sure I have all different colored ones. "Olive oil" stands for any dressing or cooking oil I might use. No more than 120 calories! The great thing about this recipe, is that I can take out some cereal if I'm planning on dessert that night! Nice!

Recipe Ingredients for Cereal Day!

Recipe Directions for Cereal Day!

  1. Prepare and serve in whatever order you choose.

  2. Use 1/3 c milk for each serving of cereal.

  3. "olive oil" stands for any extra fat: Salad dressing, etc.

  4. Substitute other fruits and veggies: just get a variety of colors.

  5. Any lean protein can replace the egg and tuna: keep it around 250 calories.

  6. Cut out 1.5 servings of cereal if you want dessert!
